How to Sideload YouTube on iOS (2026 Guide)

• AltStore (trusted installer)
• YTLitePlus (maintained fork of the classic “Vanced”-style app)

Steps (10–15 minutes)

1. Install AltStore on your computer and phone (follow the AltStore installer).
2. On iPhone: open AltStore.
3. Download the latest YTLitePlus release (GitHub Releases page).
4. In AltStore, tap “+” and pick the YTLitePlus file to install.
5. Open YTLitePlus and sign in.

Heads up

• Free Apple IDs require re-signing every 7 days (open AltStore and tap “Refresh”).
• Major iOS updates may require reinstalling.
